Thanks for visiting Les Sirène Macarons!
I am Lesly Hernandez, wife, mom of a beautiful little girl, Ariel, and baker!
I got myself a Kitchen-Aid stand mixer to make macarons for my daughter's first birthday number cake in February 2020. When I bought the Kitchen-Aid, I did not have the intentions to make macarons all the time but rather as a one time thing for my daughter's birthday. Fast forward to March 2021, my husband and I remodeled the whole kitchen and I got a new stove. In April 2021, I decided to make macarons with my new stove. I was completely unsure of how my macarons were going to come out, but I was ecstatic when I opened my stove door to see none of the macarons cracked.
I always enjoyed baking macarons because it was and still is very satisfying to me to bake them effortlessly and they would come out great: tall feet, full shells and no cracked shells.
In October 2021, I decided to make a social and start baking them for the Downriver Community.
Fast forward to September 2022, I started to diversify PSM by joining the Northville Farmers' Market. In Mid November to December, I attended pop-up events in Downtown Northville, Plymouth, Farmington Hills, and Monroe!
